We will be camping at Geneva State Park - 4499 Padanarum Road, Geneva Ohio 44041, 440-466-8400.
Their sites are all walk in and most of the amenities are closed (no water and showers - only port- a- pot. I think the non-electric sites are $25.00 each and the electric are $29.00. Saw nothing that said how many we could have on site - at this time of year don't think it will really matter. We may be making the decision on which is dryer. The lady at the park told me the non-electric were really wet and Coleen said the electric were wetter than the non- electric - guess we will see and decide when we get there.
We are planning on paddling Conneaut Creek on Saturday - putting in at #6 and taking out at #8 or #9. I think it is about 11 or 12 miles.
We are planning on doing the Grand River on Sunday from Harpersfield Dam to Hidden Valley - about 8.5 miles
Potluck will be Saturday night - Since 3/25 is Aretha Franklin's Birthday we will bring our best soul food recipes.
If no one coming is bringing a trailer we may have to use several cars to shuttle. The longest drive will be Sunday back to the Grand. We may want to start paddle later - plan on packing up and moving that way so we do not have to drive back to camp after paddling.
