We will be camping at Independence Dam State Park, 27722 State Route 424, Defiance, Ohio.
The camping area just reopened last year and is only made for tent use maybe small camper, porta pots supplied and bring water to drink they have water that is not tested . Campsites are $9 on week nights like Thursday,$19 on weekends (17.50 with golden buckeye card), 3 tents per site or 6 people max.

Friday we will get going about the time all are ready, we will put in at Evansport and go almost 12 miles to the Schick road take out. We can spot vehicles there.
Saturday we will shuttle at 9:00 A M and return to Schick road put in, and go the 7.4 mile remainder of the Tiffin River to the Maumee and about 2 miles to Pontiac Park downtown Defiance or if we have tail wind some may like to go the next 4 miles to the State Park ramp .
I expect to have log jams or the like on both days, so reasonable foot protection will be needed.
