Camping at Dillon State Park

We have 4 shaded non-electric sites with restrooms and showers nearby. Sites# 188, 190, 192, 194 should spread us out sufficiently to allow the distancing desired. The sites are $24 plus a $6.50 reservation fee and allow for 2 vehicles per site. Electric sites are available for those who would like to bring their campers. These reservations will be made on an individual basis.
The paddling is based on the desire to run the Licking River through Blackhand Gorge Nature Preserve approximately 7 miles or a Dillon Lake paddle. Both can be done without shuttling if desired but hiking is involved in the gorge. A longer trip approximately 9 miles could also be enjoyed by a short shuttle to the Staddens Bridge Rd access for the put in and at the Toboso Rd Bridge for the take out.
Like the June outing we will forgo the Saturday night potluck. Everyone is expected to bring food and drink for themselves or their small group.
