The September outing is scheduled for September 16,17,18 on the Little Miami River. We will be staying at Morgans Campground located on the banks of the river. I have secured a good rate for our group. We are currently reserved for site 35. It is a group site and we can have up to 16 people on that site. If we have less than 10 paying campers, I will look instead into 2 adjoining smaller sites.
No water or electric at the site, but both are available at the campstore along with potable water, flush toilets and showers. Not sure if that site will be good for trailers. It is right on the river on the north end of the camp.
The Cincinnati Octoberfest is that same weekend if some folks would like to travel down there. It will take about an hour, maybe a little more, from the camp to get all the way downtown. The Octoberfest is the same dates as the outing, so Friday, Saturday evening, or Sunday would all work to attend.
If you plan to camp that weekend, please let me know so that I can get a relatively accurate count. If you would like to camp Thursday night, please let me know and I will see if I can get a per person rate to stay on site 33 so that you only need to set up 1 time.
Saturday evening meal will be to bring a side item or dessert to share, you cook your own main dish for yourself.
